2 mile Run/Walk to benefit charity

Mission:

To raise funds for local, non-profit, family-oriented human service organizations, particularly Children with Cancer and Golden House, as these organizations reach out to various segments of need within the community, and therefore touch a myriad of individuals within Northeastern Wisconsin.

Families of Children With Cancer - Provides support, resources, and activities such as summer camps and day trips, as well as offers limited financial assistance to area families whose children have been diagnosed with cancer.
Golden House - Provides a haven for women and children who are trying to escape violence and abuse in their homes. Offers shelter, support groups, legal advocacy, intervention, and education to both those in need and the community.
Ecumenical Partnership For Housing (EPH) - Purchases and maintains house for homeless families in Brown County.
Brown County Food & Hunger - provides food to area hungry. Over 30,000 families served last year.

Location:

Suamico - 10 miles north of Green Bay in Brown County, WI.
Take hwy 41-141 north to CR-M / Lineville Road (exit 173), turn right 1/4 mile to Lakeview Dr. (CR-J), turn left about 1 mile to 2999 Lakeview Dr.
Start/Finish in Idlewild Park, behind village hall. Parking available on site.

Please arrive early, overlap with other events may affect traffic and parking.

Sunday registration ends at 9:45 AM Printable registration form (please mail with check or money order). Register on-line with Active.com (additional $3.25 credit card processing fee).

Saturday - June 25, 4:00pm-7:00pm - Idlewild Park, 2999 Lakeview Dr., Suamico
Sunday - June 26, 7:45am-10:00am - Idlewild Park (All runner's chips must be picked up on Sunday)
