Families of Children with Cancer, Inc. is a non-profit organization supported by tax deductible contributions and fund raising activities. No salaries are paid, and all monies directly benefit area families of children with cancer.
We Provide
- Funding for a special summer camp for children with cancer
- Annual summer picnic and Christmas party
- Annual fishing trip to Upper Michigan
- Trip to professional baseball game
- Limited financial assistance to families whose children are in treatment
- Treats for children after clinic visits for treatment
- Food baskets for Thanksgiving
- Library with information on treatment, research, and community resources
- "Helping Hand" book to newly diagnosed children
- Computers to be used by patients and their families at both local clinics
